I made some calls yesterday and no one had a confirmed date, although BFG website says July 2015, nor and indication of prices either.

how come the wrong way around? Do you mean you prefer the white lettering on the inside?

I like the white lettering personally.....

How are the new tyres going to be different than the older ones?

i guess when the new version comes out there might be a few deals on the older ones too. 2015 Overfinch Defender XS 90

I am planning to buy these once available here in Europe in replacement of my stolen GG TRs. Standard size 235/85-16 on Black HD Wolf wheels.
I have been checking the BFG website and there is a movie with tech specs, and below is a picture from that movie.... This is from BFG own website, and I am shocked to see the condition shown by BFG after just 1000 miles on severe gravel, both the existing All-Terrain T/A KO as well as the new All-Terrain T/A KO2. Wonder what they call "severe gravel" there in the USA. Shocked

Movie link:

In my case it is going to be 99.9% city and highway driving, so guess I will not face the above. Thoughts about these?

Doesn't really matter if you get the 'latest must have because it's new' if it's got B F Goodrich emblazoned on it it'll be a great boot that will give you great service and last forever irrespective of whether it's the new style or not.

It'll only be the tyre spotters that'll be disappointed it's not the newest, not you. Rolling with laughter If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

well you say that, but in reviews the current BFG AT KO doesn't fare that well against the more up to date competition. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with them and I don't have personal experience, but based on everything I've read I wouldn't buy them. I'd get the Discoverer A/T3 but YMMV. It will be interesting to see how well people take to the KO2.

Meanwhile I'm happily bumbling about on 7.50 Latitude Crosses that are quiet on the road and fine in the thick mud I've had them in and will be replaced with more of the same at the rate things are going Very Happy

Yes, but after 12 years (that's how long the current version exists, right?) I think we have to give credit to BFG for claiming that they have made quite a few improvements with the KO2, so believe worth a few months wait, even if visually there won't be that much difference between old and new to the untrained eye.

I know that production start of the new KO2 has been a staged process with certain sizes coming first, but I now see that they are already being produced in the standard 235/85R16 size which I need. Here they are, but amazon.com won't ship overseas (not even to Arkansas Shocked ). What do you think, I tried of course. Laughing

And in below link, ooohhh, they do look good, don't they? Cool

I agree Eric if you're in the market and can afford to wait a few months then do so. I am about to return to BFG as in my opinion they are great value for money and last forever. Whilst we are all waiting let's have a game of spot the difference.

Cool Laughing
