Supacat,
That's obviously the reason that JLR are not fitting AC to the heritage, they are just looking after their customers...... |

Has anyone ordered an adventure?
There seems to be lots of interest in the Heritage but hardly any mention of the Adventure or am I just being dense... Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

Odd that the people going for the brightest/brashest model are all too shy to post here

And also they are not making many AB's in total worldwide compared to the heritage and adventure. I think it's only 80 for the UK compared to 400 heritage and 600 adventures.
My impression from reading various websites and forum's is that it is the adventure which has been the most difficult of the celebration editions for LR dealers to shift ( or should I say less easy!). I do like the Autobiography in the colour scheme shown on the stand at Geneva, I don't know why JLR did not use that colour scheme in the launch pictures as I think it is a lot more eyecatching than the black/grey they did use. |

My bet is that LR used the 'Corris Grey Satin Finish' as it is an optional extra on the AB (the only one).
Interestingly it hasn't made any appearance in the flesh. The London Boat Show had a Bering Grey example and Geneva has Calamar Copper.... |

I have. Although whist the Phoenix Orange looks good - google geneva motor show pics, I've opted for the safer Corris Grey. |

Which was exactly what I was going to do, and I suspect most will, but I quite fancied it a bit different! I doubt they'll be too many in Orange, I hope! The grey looks great with the black! |

Just seen in this week's Autocar (top right, page 15) that the Heritage Defender was Steve Cropley's 'Show star' at Geneva.
He said 'How could I pass up the chance to select a 67 year old stalwart that won't be here next year? This green one (heritage pictured) was mobbed all day'. There was a lot of very nice new metal at Geneva, great to see that the Defender still gets such positive attention even amongst that lot! |

I had a Yulong White 110 on order with the intention of making it my only car..................... last week I had a 110XS loaner for two days and decided that for the sort of driving I do the 110 is not the best car for me. I contacted Grange Garage and discussed changing my order to an RRS SDv6 HSE Dynamic which is finishing build today and will be delivered on 28th March. I was very surprised to be able to get one at such short lead in as normally there is 4 months delay, but the car was destined originally for one of Grange's directors. The short lead in also meant I couldn't change the spec at all (blessing in disguise as I would have been tempted to load it up with goodies!). So my White Adventure is now going to be a Corris Grey RRS2 HSE Dynamic with fixed panoramic roof, privacy glass and style 504 alloys, the interior is black with more black and a black headliner. I have added mudflaps and the front and rear stainless steel skid plates and a rubber boot liner mat. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come 2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |
