Standard advice is never to carry fuel inside your vehicle if you can help it.
Why do you need it? Will you be that far from a fuel station/low on fuel? If you do do it, then remember the weight of a full can and the thiness of the bulkhead metal. You don't want it pulling the fixings through if you have an "event". |

I've never been that good at following advice, so put a jerry can in the back of my 90. Never again, wasn't ideal on a holiday, and it does linger, especially when it's a complete bag of clothes.

Allmost as bad as when my eldest boy who's autistic found a brand new tin of WD40 and sprayed it al over the ply lining in the back of my 90 the night before we were going away for a week in it. The whole week was spent with the front windows wound right down in a pretty cold February
