That is a bit sad really...
You would have perhaps thought that as the UK cars don't have a/c, they would at least fit a more traditional non a/c grill!!! YOLO... You Only Live Once... |

Hi Rob,
This is the direct pricing I was given by the dealer... 6.0 Pricing List VAT 20% Max Rec on Road Heritage 90 Hard Top £22,933.33 VAT £4,586.67 TOTAL £27,520 90 Station Wagon £25,516.67 VAT £5,103.33 TOTAL £30,620 110 Station Wagon 7 Seat £28,266.67 VAT £5,653.33 TOTAL £33,920 Adventure 90 Station Wagon 150 PS £36,012.50 VAT £7,202.50 TOTAL £43,215 110 Station Wagon 7 Seat £36,012.50 VAT £7,202.50 TOTAL £43,215 Autobiography 90 Station Wagon 150 PS £51,304.17 VAT £10,260.83 TOTAL £61,565 Of course the UK has the 20% VAT, but that is Australia is almost gobbled up with Customs, GST and transport. So pretty much like for like. Double those costs and thats a pretty good comparison at todays exchange rate! Cheers, Pete. P.S... Still a shame about no AirCon... esp since it's a pretty standard expectation in a new car, even in the UK now! YOLO... You Only Live Once... |

Hi Pickles,
My dealer has confirmed that Australian vehicles will have air conditioning, I wouldn't have minded too much, but the better half would probably never travel with me in it, as indeed she doesn't in the Series 1, RRC & doesn't much like the TD5 from the air conditioning stand point. Gee October seems a long way off! Cheers Nigel |

Hi Pete...Hi Pickles...Yes all Australian cars have airconditioning, already confirmed by LR australia manager.
Pete , what do you mean by 6.0 pricing? Well it sounds as if the adventurer 110 models might cost over $80,000 aust....I cant believe this...and the Heritage 110 might cost close to $70,000....seems too much to me? a standard 110 defender is $55,000 drive away maybe we will all be surprised with the final costs-...cheaper than we all think- Robbo |

The Heritage HT is £27800 OTR
It has no options available at all so guaranteed no Aircon in UK. Had an email from main dealer to confirm this yesterday. |

Thats a bit odd Rog
you should of had to sign an order form with confirmation of your order and it should be signed by them. |

When it gets closer to the time I'm going to try and request that my Heritage is fitted with A/C. If they're doing it for some markets, then surely they could fit it to my UK car. Presumably an Australian-market car is exactly the same as a UKDM one in every other respect anyway, seeing as they too drive on the correct side of the road?
