I tried to order some direct on the QT website but I had to ring them due to an "issue with their online payment".

So I phoned QT and they informed me that they have been rebranded as Wild Bear as they are now distributed via Bearmach. They are exactly the same apart from the logo.

Only the LHD versions require welding. The RHD ones bolt straight on.

The Paddock ones, are really bad quality, the galvanising it terrible and the welds were rusty when they turned up, so I sent them back and bought the Wild Bear.

I fitted front and back on Saturday. They are easy to fit, but do need some nudging to join the guard to the bracket. Also, with the P38 diff casing, it uses the 2 spare threaded holes on the diff casing. They will be filled with crap, so you'll probably need to run a tap through them to clean them out.

After speaking with QT, they suggested ordering from Mailorder4x4 I had never ordered from them before, however, as QT themselves suggested them, I thought I'd give them a go.

These are the ones you need;


FRONT (Same as the QT model A1050A)

One thing that was wierd and I'm guessing is because it was dispatched direct from Bearmach (which incidentally is based in my home village in Wales) I had an email stating it was on backorder, then about an hour later it was dispatched and it came next day.

No it's slightly different as it bolts in place of the steering arm guard.

I haven't got a photo, but did find this on the internet. As you can see, it's a fair way up inside, so not likely to catch it.
