2002 Defender 110 Td5 CSW Zermatt Silver

Clonking at 50

Just a quick ask!1 I have a metal to metal clonking feeling through the steering wheel at around 50mph and wondered if anyone knew what it might be. I know its a tall ask but if by chance someone could help. I only get it at 50-55 and then it goes away. it shudders through the steering wheel like a knocking, and I was wondering if it could be the Prop?

BACK UJ check play same problem on 2003 90 last year

I've been trying to sort a vibration at roughly this speed and it turns out the crank pully is on its way out. There's a good description on discovery2.co.uk under faults that might be worth a read to see if any of the other symptoms match up.

The props are good and all greased up. It rattles especially over bumps and its starting to

me off!!
