[Wanted] TDCi engine rear lifting bracket
Does anyone happen to have a rear engine lifting bracket for the 2.4 Puma engine that they don't want?

This is the red bracket that either rattles, falls off, or makes a hole in the heater pipe, which is (or was) located at the rear nearside of the cylinder head. Many vehicles had them removed by the dealer at PDI in order to prevent them rattling, falling off, or making a hole in the heater pipe, and if the dealer didn't, then many owners later removed them.

See Engine lift bracket.. GRRRRRR for more info on these infamous brackets.

I am hoping that someone may have one they've removed and no longer want that I could either beg or buy, since I am reluctant to fork out the sum of nearly £20 for a new one and I need to lift an engine.!

Thanks!

Yes I have one that you are welcome to ...all I have to do is find it as we moved last year. Leave it with me. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.
Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW.

[Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc]

Many threads about this, below is one.... And my bracket still proudly is in place without rattling and without chafing any pipe. Apparently the LH drive Defenders may not have that chafing issue at all. Thumbs Up
http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic10657....ngine+lift You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Thank you, gents. Steve's looking for his, which is initially proving elusive, so I'll let you know if he can't find it.

I am grateful for the responses!
