This may be a silly question, but can't you just replace it with a non-Land Rover bolt?
The head of it should tell you the grade and if it's metric, then just buy one of the same grade and dimensions and away you go. |

They are 1/2" UNF bolts, not metric

Thanks guys. The bolt says 'AA' on the top and it all makes loads more sense now I know its not metric
