Mini Crash
not really a mini crash, it was quite a big one! My GF dawn was driving home whilst quite tired, had a few slow blinkers, the next thing she knew she was rolling over the hedge, the car behind said it went over 4 times. i don't normally feel the need to preach, but it only took a few seconds and if she was in my car she'd be dead. Big Cry she walked away with suspected broken nose, collar bone, arm and foot, and after a 5 1/2 hors wait in the hereford A&E for X-rays Rolling Eyes it was all ok, just badly scraped and very very bruised.

take a break when tired peeps Thumbs Up

Alex-e,

Crikey, that looks very serious/painful. Glad to hear there were no serious injuries. Sorry to broach the subject, but from your comment I assume you mean your significant other would have come off worse in a Defender? Is this due to the lack of roll over protection?

Ken,

What exactly do you do if you don;t mind me asking? You seem, to own about a million cars from what you say on the forums Wink Are you mr ADT or something?

Thanks,
Harvey

Cheers for all your kind comments, i'll pass them on. yeah if she had been in a defender, the pillars would've just crumbled. no doubt in my mind. think if i was keeping mine i'd look into some cages. Thumbs Up

Ken,

I wouldn't have asked but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't just a little curious as to your line of work?

I did think you just bred dogs know it would seem you own Eurocar, 3 BMW / Mini dealerships and a LR dealership too. Confused

obviously I don't expect you to let on what you do but with freedom of speach and all that I'm just letting you know I'm scratching my head.

and besides I'm always interested in others ideas as that just might help me with an idea to working for myself (and hopefully making so money in the process).
Very Happy

Are you 'Freelance'? ie could I say to you please get me an xxxxxxx, or are you working for a firm and so look after a specific client?

I think I want an Insignia, Freelander2 or Disco3 (yes 3 NOT 4) after or as well as my Defender, depending on what I get Wink

So glad she is ok. At the end of the day the mini is only metal and paint and what is really important it’s that she is OK
