Interesting sub-set of views there about wasting money and what damage it actually does...

Is that the same ground that the army exercise their tanks and armoured vehicles on?

Cuthbert, You've obviously never seen the damage a 2.5t Defender can do to an 80t MBT's tracks. It reaks havoc, the tank's 3ft deep ruts get broken up and as a result tank drivers get lost all the time, because they can no longer follow them back to base. There are tanks and crew's corpses littering the Plain because of Green Laners...... Monsieur Le Grenadier
I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

He's probably also not seen the damage a 2.5t defender can do whilst driving over ancient tummuli and burial mounds that are out there, and the motorbikes (minus numberplate and exhausts too.... and no doubt insurance and tax) that have made a huge long trail all over the areas and woodland.
Yes, it's a military training area, and thus cut to bits by the MoD, but the MoD own it, not the knuckle dragging laners to ruin it for everyone else who want to legally go laning and continue to do so in the future. |

I would like to echo the sentiments of DJ^^^^^
There seem to be a lot of knuckle draggers frequenting the plain recently. It won't take long before a bit of pressure from the MOD will have all the bywyas closed and then it will be ruined for the law abiding members on here 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |
