Does diesel glow under UV?

Hello,

I am trying to trace a coolant leak on my lovley TD5 (2005) and I have flushed out the system and refilled including adding some UV dye to the system. I also have a leak from the diesel pump at the back of the engine which is confusing me as the fluid running down the block appears to glow under UV but is definitely fuel! I cannot find any other leaks so have resigned myself to doing the head gasket if I don't get any further on this one. Have checked all the usual places, got her good and hot and still can't see a leak.

Difficult to determine as most leak detector kits include dye. Is there any way you can syphon some out of the tank or bleed some off and try it on it's own perhaps? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

well diesel seems to glow yellow/green under UV
