Hi all
Some of you may remember me from when I had snotty!  Click image to enlarge I have been through a few vehicles since, wheeling and dealing, last being a VW transporter T5 camper and currently have a battered 300tdi 90. I am waiting on a cheque to cash then I am hoping to go and collect a 2014 110 XS with 3000 miles on the clock in Santorini Black. but it is not quite the usual standard as you can see! I do like a challenge and Im hoping once repaired, it will have cost me roughly 15-17k including purchase of vehicle and putting it to RHD. surely going to need an entirely new body, dash and rear seats? You're braver than me for sure!
Is it going to be a 110 SW or something else? Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

Its not on the register at all
I am getting a new bulkhead with complete and new rear tub for it, plus new roof and doors. All from vehicles being broken for spares at authorised breakers. I will get Series 3 88" sides to turn it into a utility I am going pay someone to do the bulkhead swap and tub swap as I dont have the space then do the rest myself, been quoted £1400 for labour and paint for that bit which is reasonable, at well over 50% saving on RRP Im going to give it a good go and will update thread as I go along! 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) 2015 Discovery 4.5 Black pack Firenze red XS 2008 Corris Grey 110 XS USW (sold) 2011 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) |

Looks a good project Ken. Saw you had a wanted up on facebook. You'll see some money back on the parts for left hand drive aswell. Keep us posted with the updates Its something I'd like to do one day. At least the bolts should undo easily on that one!

the yanks will love the LHD dash and parts. lots to change, may aswell galv the new b pillars and bilkhead

For the price I am purchasing it for at £11000 I can sell it on or break it easily for that so either way I am not too concerned. Mike, How much for the 88" sides? Tig UP, I am looking at getting new tdci bulkhead and b post galvanised yes  you read my mind!
