Me, myself, I.... 6 1/2 years now and going strong You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Same here, bought my current one new 7 years ago .. no plans to move it on any time soon
The one before was also bought new, And the 2 before that, I was the second owner of both. My first one appeared to be previously owned by the entire 'Extras' cast of Zulu Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant. |

I'm the second owner of mine. The first owner only covered 64,000km (~40,000m) in 6 years and had serviced it regularly at the LR main dealer he bought it from.

I think I'm the 3rd owner of mine. Before the guy I bought it from, it was apparently a van run-around for Skoda in Milton Keynes. 1998 110 300Tdi White Hard Top

My 2001 Td5 County , I'm the 8th careful owner ! The previous have all made their mark and that is what I like about her, a complete mystery with every job I do ! 2001 DEF TD5 County
