Hello All
Started on the D3 site when the wife swpped her D2 for the D3. She had two freelanders before that Click image to enlarge I had at the time a 300TDI CSW which i had for eleven years, prior i had a 90 TD and a V8 110 Click image to enlarge Since getting the TD5 90 in May i moved over here to see whats happening this side. Also notice many familer names. I balances the driveway having one of each Click image to enlarge Cheers Mark |

I got rid of my d3 and am back in a defender. I thought I miss it but I don't. No that's a lie getting a double mattress in a d3 is easy, getting it in a 110 is a f****** c***! Also the sat nav in d3 is better than a Tom Tom. Then there's the the sound system the d3 had about 6 hundred speakers. D3 will tow anything and remain level instead of looking at the sky in the defender. Then there's the speed limited that does my head in. But in a d3 no one waves at you. A defender fits in everywhere where as in a d3 you just look like a person that can't afford a range rover. Can anyone tell I've been down the pub? One thing on a serious note I should have got the heavy duty suspension for the 110.

got rid of my D3 during the price lift earlier in the year. Fancied a change and allways hanckered for another defender after owning an S2 truck cab as a teenager. Found a mint one and very pleased with it.

Had a D1 upgraded to a D2, decided i couldnt stand the TD5 and bought the latest D1 - Considered buying a D3, had one from LR didnt like it...find the D4 not much better.
Love the freelander, RRS and FFRR - bought a new house so couldnt afford the latter and dont want any debt, but still kept the D3 account. Had a 200tdi defender, access to various others, bought a 3.5v8 90 - loved it, bought the puma, told i had to sell the v8 and signed up here. Mike |
