That’s one hell of a solidly built trailer makes my Bateson one look like is built out of tin foil For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

They're Army tough!
I've used them a few times in work albeit the GS cargo versions with a Stainless tub. They're tough as anything but quite heavy obviously. Built to last and actually quite nice to tow. Some owners extend the towing arm as they can be tricky to reverse, being so short.. |

I can second the comment on the quality of penman trailers , you'll struggle to dent it! A worthy upgrade to the sankey. Little bit jealous lol

It's on ebay Stu
4 days left on it. It's been on for a while now and the owner of the company is selling off his collection of ex army Defenders. I can't do the link thing but type in Penman trailer on ebay and it should come up. I found it by accident by typing Land rover Defender and then choosing closest first and giving a Cardiff postcode. Interesting vehicles they've got mate. |

sorry ive never understood the fascination of sankey trailers for normal use
against too high to lift heavy load in to painted steel and rust hitch too high ring hitch no tailgate on some stepped floor ,no flat load space leaf springs fixed sides for strong same stud pattern I did buy one many many years ago when I first got into land rovers ,started to strip it down to refurb (it was good condition anyway ) , then stood back looked at it and then got bottles out , cut it up and in the iron bin it went ! sorry if you got or like them , just my pennys worth on them |
