oh dear!
so I installed the cubby box with the mounting feet. Then realised I couldn't get to screw the metal plate back to the base, I did it by hand on one side (marked in red) however the thing it screwed into dropped out when I took it for a test drive. so there is now a perfect 2cm round hole. Any suggestions, just use washers and bolts? ![]() Tim 2001 90 TD5 CSW Alveston Red Manual |

Hi Tim,
Just get some Rivnuts, clinch nuts, captive nuts, whatever they are called in your part of the world and fit them into the hole you now have. Then screw straight into them. ![]() 1981 S3 R6 Matt Green - Now used as game viewer 2013 Discovery 4 XS |

I found it still attached to the plate, random!
well after two hours and readjusting some holes its finally in! I would like to say its been an easy task but some of the bolts were rounded and had to be drilled out, its was just very fiddly trying to line the bolts up but I managed it in the end ![]() ![]() Click image to enlarge 2001 90 TD5 CSW Alveston Red Manual |
