They do have some seriously impressive kit and you can clearly see from all the photos what good quality it is. Here is another German modular roof rack. Cannot remember the company who made it, but think it is also around 2k€+. I am having one made by a local metalworks for just £750

@ Grenadier : sorry to say, but the Quality of the rack you showed is poor, i know a Landy-Driver here in my Region witch had it. He didn`t Keep it for long - it started to rust all around and the Price was .
If you are looking for that type of racks, high Quality ones, than have a look at Markus site www.offroad-tec.de or at www.gmb-Mount.de Both are quite similar. Cheers Philip |

Thanks for the tip. The equipment on both sites looks superb (you Germans certainly make the best kit ) and the rack is very, very cool. I definitely want a low-profile set-up so I will have to save up! Monsieur Le Grenadier

i enquired about these but as you said there £2k plus. I like the idea of being snug fit and acting as a safari roof. i'll cad one up one day. |
