You need autopass.no go to the site select English. Navigate the menu to get the individual road charges for your chosen route and information regarding pre registration
For the ferries you need to visit the web site for each of the ferries on your route as there is lots of info about each one, or count the number of ferries you will be using and budget around £8 for short trips and £12 for longer onesc Bit of an open ended question, regardless, I suggest doing your own research and asking for help where you get specifically stuck, it's more fun! |

A group of us did the trip from uk to nordkapp, one ferry cost about £15, then when you get home you get the road toll bill of about £45-50

Thanks lads i have counted about 7 crossing's in total and i had thought about 100 euro in tolls i had speculated 200 euro between boats and tolls so should come in on budget..

Hello.
I'm driving to Tromso in a couple of weeks and I noticed that you're 'landing in Bergen'. How are you doing this? I thought ferries from UK to Bergen were no more, or are you sailing from somewhere else? Thanks, Pete. |

As you say, you have not been able to go to Bergen from the UK for a long time and even the ferry to Denmark has now ceased. i can only assume they are driving to Denmark first and then a ferry from there, however, like yourself I would love to know if they have discovered something better

We did a trip to Tromso last summer and went Harwich to hook of holland, then drove to the top of Denmark

You can go from UK directly to Norway via Ferry but it's difficult to book in advanced 10+ weeks

Could be a good option, I was looking but didn't think of freight ferries..... Do you have any idea of costs? Beware the lollipop of mediocrity��. one lick and you suck forever! 2005 TD5 XS 110 with a few extras...... first Land Rover and loving it!! |

Price for this year was £166 pp = £144 for vehicle and £31 booking fee from Immingham to brevik....
A good option from the uk but from Ireland makes it pricey... |

Also the potential to bump you off at the last minute, in favour of freight, put us off a bit this year. We weighed it all up and decided in the end to Chunnel it, the long drive around with overnight stop in Germany, and then another overnight on the Copenhagen to Oslo ferry. Cost slightly less and was roughly the same timewise as the freight ferry.
Once in Norway, other than the road tolls around Oslo ( if they bill you) there was only one other charge following the E6 up to Norkapp, that was the short ferry crossing between Bognes and Skarberget. Its a great trip. Well worth it at this time of year  |
