Seatbox corner protectors
Who has some? Are you pleased?
I'm not keen on the screw heads which is what puts me off of them.

Got the YRM ones on both the 90's.

Very pleased with them, especially on the new 90 as the seat box corners were really tatty after a year Shocked

I have them. Thumbs Up
They are a great little add on.
You could always change the screws if you don't like them. I did put mine on with an impact driver so they went in and are flush with the plastic.

I have some corner protectors that I saved from some boiler packing. They are a bit like these....

I think they need a trim to fit round the seat rail.

I am sure I have 4 or more so if you want a pair they are yours for postage (may take a few days to dig them out though)

Only trouble with those is they are just the corner only.
I reckon they'd look much more neat bonded on but maybe that's just personal fussiness.

We have them fitted. From memory they go down the whole length of the edge. 2015 Audi Q3 Quattro S Line Plus 184 TDI Stronic

True. I have only seen the mat go on the top corner though so I wasnt too bothered about the rest of the edge. Bonding is the plan.

I've seen them, & I don't l;ike the idea of drilling holes either.
I've from time to time tried to think of different ideas to protect these corners, things like custom made leather strips/protectors etc to cover the corners, but then I suppose they'd have to be attached with velcro which would also leave a mark if they were removed?

I have some fitted, they protect. and also tidy up , what usually ends up a little worn/torn or scuffed.
I also didn't want to add to the already huge potential areas for rust and nastiness, so have just stuck mine on with Blacktac.

Haven't moved at all, since fitted, months and months ago, only mildy annoying but is the unused screw holes, I did fire off an e. Mail asking if they could supply un drilled , but got no answer, and as I wanted to cover up a damaged corner, I ordered them anyway.
If you know someone with a tig welder , then it is not rocket science to get some alloy angle, light gauge , whatever width you prefer, and then mark , cut and cap off the top , and spray powder satin or matt black. "Procrastination is the thief of time"
