Some Good News!
Taken from Landy Watch on Facebook. A guy who had his Land Rover stolen last year has been told it's been found with a host of others in a lock up in Sheffield all that was left of it was the chassis! All the gang have been arrested apparently!

Glad the thieves have been caught, however, if my Defender was stolen and all I got back was the chassis I would be gutted. Big Cry

Hot Fuzz have also said they have managed to contact all owners of the vehicles in the lock-up... Thumbs Up

Although it is not clear whether they were all in the same rolling chassis state as the one owned by the guy that posted the item... Whistle

Certainly good news if they have busted a ring of scumbags... Evil or Very Mad

It's getting more and more difficult for them though.
The cash vs risk is not paying off so well now.

Unfortunately Bear all they would do is stick out their stumps and demand 'hand' outs from the UK taxpayer.

My solution is to put a certain part of their anatomy between two bricks being brought together at high speed.

At least that would prevent them breeding future scumbags even if they talked in a high pitched voice.

It does show the advantage of items being identifiable .

The authorities need to make an example of this gang and give them the maximum sentence they can give to send a message to others!

That would be the solution.

However, in reality some liberal magistrate will realise that they are the victims of society, downtrodden through years of being exposed to items that they desire, but cannot afford and in the end the temptation to acquire those said items becomes too much for them and they succumb to their dishonest side.

In truth these people should be pitted and offered all the help we can give them. Punishing them with the full might of the law will only serve to make them more wretched, so it my duty to steer them onto the path of goodness, so I will offer them not incarceration but a holiday and vouchers to spend at several high street stores.

However the owner of the Land Rover is a different matter and I have to say in open court that if the said owner did not flaunt his vehicle so that those of a weaker disposition are tempted to take it away from him then these previously honest citizens would not now be standing in my dock. So in consequence I fine the said owner the sum of one hundred pounds payable to the accused in order to compensate for any distress you have caused them by owning a vehicle they desired. Wink
