Appreciate this chap has never voiced opinion (as far as I am aware) on Defenders, but for anyone who likes petrol, he's a must to watch. Another great programme, makes my feet twitchy for the next exped. Highly recommended....

Great fun. The man's as mad as a box of frogs, but a legend to boot. As ever he comes out with some cracking 'Martinisms', my favourite being (when seeing two young Indian men - friends - holding hands) 'You wouldn't catch that happening in Grimsby....'
Looking forward to next week, perfect Sunday Evening TV after Top Gear. Obviously Mrs Grenadier is dead chuffed about the viewing schedule.... Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

It's good to see someone on TV that's got some talent and not just a 'Wannabe Celebrity'.

He's a fit chap too - I have raced in the same mountain bike races as him, I can vouch he's good on 2 wheels (good to watch him at the TT as well...maybe one day he'll get a much-deserved win).
IIRC he's racing (mountain bike) later this year at Relentless 24-hour (that's where he was a couple of years ago...I think he finished well up the field http://www.nofussevents.co.uk/event/Relentless-24/2998/ Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

Funny you should say that. I think that the TV production companies have been looking for a successor to Fred for some time and have found Guy - I believe that they have exactly the same thought that you have in this respect. He is the new Fred. |

Thanks for the heads up, just watched this on catch-up and glad I did...
Top bloke is Guy... A real pleasure to watch someone who genuinely loves whatever it is he is presenting (well apart from the hang gliding bit) and does so without pretentious airs and graces... Arguably, Fred ++.
Offers a little something for the Laydees and also those who are bit more into the petrol being used up at speed rather than the mechanics of how that process works in the internal combustion engine. Whatever you watch him for, top bloke. Arguably my go-to presenter on the Telly. Nothing he does disappoints and love the irreverence. Similar ideals, I would suggest, to Defender and Motorbike owners alike. Great clubs, glad I'm a member Unlike the modern, B-celeb, fame-tomorrow obsession that is taking over the UK now.
