I have an XS on a 08 plate...Cosmetically I have had headlamp retaining rings, side steps, front bumper all swapped out under warranty due to paint flaking! Apart from that she is sound! Ask if it has had any waxoyl treatment if not put that down as your #1 priority! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Thanks for the reply.
Would waxoyl be expensive. Side steps were a little flaky but nothing what seems worth worrying over. I've driven a few which i have borrowed from friends and they seem fine although it's going to be completely different using one day-day. Best regards |

Decent waxoyl treatment would cost between £350 - £450 dependant on where you go! A number of us (myself included) have been to Rustmasters! They offer a service second to none in my opinion and the end result is very good backed up by a 5 year guarantee! It was surprising when mine went up on the ramp this June to be done how much was already showing initial signs of degrading through surface corrosion! Do a search under waxoyl and/or Rustmaster on here! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
