Simon,
Fantastic vehicle you have had built. Congratulations. You will have a lot of fun with that. I do like the Bowler shift levers. However they do suggest that a 2.2 has a very rugged and precise gearbox....which it most definitely doesnīt. Doesnīt put me off the shift levers, though . its a webasto park heater probably the best mod ordered lol car is warm every morning for me[/quote] Very nice car. Lots of fun beckons....Is the Webasto easy to fit? How much to buy? Being in the Alps, I do not normally get heat until I have done approx 5kms!! And it's not even been proper chilly yet!! Just a balmy -8c overnight. Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Very nice car, the black and grey looks very very attractive
As you say the gear shifters do feel nice in the hand weird to explain but comfortable to hold helps explain it I think, they do for sure help with a more positive gear change as the weight balance on the stick is just right. I have my reg plate in the same place as yours and stood back 3 or 4 feet from the car it is still clearly viewable so I don't think the plods will worry to much, it is hard to see really in pictures of which do give the effect of its hidden compared to what its like in real life with it slanting back a little. Pete. |

Yes they do have a nice deep note to the exhaust under load, not to loud as to give your head a bad time but just eniough to change it from the standard.
Should you wish to Matt from, FCX one of the site sponsors I'm sure could supply you a cubby lid only with the high 2" foam on top that will exchange from the standard flat foam lid. Pete. |
