You are welcome to some of ours. Between 6-8 inches here. Being falling very fine and with little wind so fairly level cover here.

Slight snag have to be driving at 05.30 hrs tomorrow

Good snow around Sheffield this morning Thumbs Up

Handled it without any problems what so ever on road tyres and needless to say didn't go anywhere near low range Bow down

My youngest daughter lives at Broadway and they have plenty of snow. We have a bit in the Rotherham area and there's cars dumped all over the sodding place it took 40 minutes to do 4 miles this morning.

Fortunately for me today I have been local and didn't have to fight through all the drivers that can't handle the snow Neutral

I'm so glad I looked out of the window 10 minutes ago as it was snowing. That'll be our lot for now as it's just back to drizzle again now.
The one thing that does intrigue me about the big "dump" in North America is that on some of the telly reports they mention the fact that drivers have been banned from the roads. How does that happen? I can't see that happening with me, irrespective of the vehicle sat on my drive, I live in a village, public transport is the proverbial joke and I have a pony at livery that relies on my care. I have lived in rural areas all my life, some more remote than others and have never failed in seeing to any animals that have been in my care or have owned.

politicians have not a clue outside of Westminster. Rural bus service is not good.

I know what you mean Mick.

Went down Windy Bank the other day, two cars abandoned on it and you could see where the third car had just been 'recovered from. At bottom of hill eurobox with n/s caved in.

Went down it today, eurobox with hazards on and front n/s corner totalled. When will people learn that a drystone wall holding up the hillside is not very forgiving?

Going up the hill you could see where people had been struggling and this is with a dusting of snow.

Unfortunately, this country is breeding stupidity. Coming down the M6 from Penrith yesterday afternoon we hit a blizzard and even though I was doing 50 there were still idiots in BMW's, Audi's and even two Fiat 500's overtaking on the outside lane with undriven snow. Shocked God knows how these idiots have managed to survive as long as they have. Or it could be a case that they've never had an accident, but seen lots!!!! Whistle i.e.. they've caused them!!
