personally I would go for a bigger jack , more of a garage jack , you want a bigger lifting pad really

something like this Halfords Advanced 3 Tonne Quick Lift Garage Trolley Jack

For the price and obviously depending on frequency of use, surely this is a great buy for occasional use... Question

I think you might struggle with the size of jack

lifting pad too small
lifting height not enough

I think your regret buying the smaller jack

I would go Halfords advanced jack 3t ( black one ) and advanced axle stands ( black ones ) , but are more money I know

Okay thanks for that, so another way would be

4 Tonne Bottle Jack with the
Advanced 3 Tonne Ratchet Axle Stands

Does this sound a better alternative? 2.2 2012 110 utility Orkney Grey

bottle jacks are not the most stable of things , would not be my choice of jack

unstable and lifting pad area even smaller

advanced trolley jack really

I use a 4 tonne bottle jack and I have two 3 tonne ratchet axle stands. Simply pump up the axle and slide the axle stand under nice and easy

You can get 3 tonne ratchet stands for £15 from Costco or online,I use a 10 ton + bottle jack but as said they're not very stable. You can get a good 3 ton trolley jack for around the £80 mark.
These seem to be generic jacks sold from various dealers, ignore the "sale" price, they're £80 wherever you go,lol.
