"THIEVES tried to steal a Land Rover by dragging it from a driveway to load onto another vehicle, police believe. The Land Rover Defender was found undamaged and abandoned in the driveway and police believe thieves may have been disturbed. Police are appealing for witnesses to the apparent attempted theft between around 7.45pm and 7.50pm in Manchester Road, Ninfield, on Monday (January 12). Sergeant Chris Ruff said: "I would like to appeal for anyone who saw what happened to get in touch so that we can try to identify and arrest those who were involved. "I would also urge owners of similar Land Rovers to review the security of their vehicles, especially if they own an older vehicle without an immobiliser or alarm." Email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 1331 of 12/01, call 101, or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555111" |

Thanks for the heads up...
There certainly seems to be an increase in the number and spread of thefts to kick 2015 off... Previously shared with LandyWatch > HERE < Rog... The GREEN One... MY2016 Urban Truck Build Thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40548....al[/color] |
