handy with the spanners ...if was no warrantee would do it meself...but suppose there is a chance transfer box goosed will let them do it....loads of info on here from you guys ...but gonna tie me hands behind me back

spoke to landy repair dude said it is shaft from gearbox to transfer box, hopefully all sorted tomorrow before snow... dealer said he will pay as it still under warrantee happy days . Repair dude been doing landys for many years never done one of these shafts. Funny so many failures on here .....

Make sure that they grease the new splined coupling very thoroughly, otherwise you'll be doing the job again soon!

other than possible tell tales of rust around the drain hole (and pulling the transfer box off) I guess there's no way of knowing if the shaft is greased up or not?

thanks to the very nice man at mid engineering in wantage even drove to get me when i got lost Legend !!!! cheers Mark Showed me rusty old lump of metal removed from the gearbox...drove her home all good. Greaced and new fingers crossed she will be ok ......come on snow you can arrive now ...we are ready !!!!!!
