Thats not good if you had a deposit down.
I have a deposit down, so I won't be a happy cabbage if I don't get one. |

Autobiography models were apparently only allocated to dealers who sell a lot of Defenders throughout the year...
I'm naturally very disappointed but have been told to call round other dealers. |

I enquired about a heritage 90 h/t in a moment of madness. They gave me a really good trade in offer on mine. But - I decided to think about it and when I got home and opened the garage was overwhelmed with guilt. So - I need to buy the current metal mistress some toys now to make up for roving eye.

These limited editions are not officially relesed in Switzerland yet. My dealer will inform me once he knows more about the Heritage which seems the first to be released here... You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Unfortunately placing a deposit down for something that didn't exist is only to the dealers benefit. He has your money for x months but can't actually guarantee a vehicle. When searching my 90 one of the dealers I went to said the deposit was none returnable! I walked out laughing! |

Deposits were non refundable if you actually ordered a new car.
The deposit for a ltd edition was fully refundable if you didn't like what they offered. |

Pleased to advise I have an Autobiography!
Process is apparently for dealer to submit a 'letter of intent' to LR with the spec and LR will give a production date in the next couple of weeks. Allocation has been very controversial apparently. |

I emailed the dealer today to make sure my heritage 90 HT had been allocated and then missed a phone call from them this afternoon.

Cheers all
The dealer has said he can ask Bowler to remap the engine to produce 175PS for circa £800. Anybody else gone this route? Apparently it will not void the warranty? |
