Post I think 2007 it is illegal to fit side facing seats. I even think the jump seat is questionable. Your insurers certainly wouldn't cover you either.

I believe it would be fine if fitted to the correct age TD5..

I know of an unfortunate incident where somebody with a puma hard top and side facing chairs had an accident, the person in the back unfortunately passed away, insurance covered everything...

Still wouldn't fit them in my current truck

They are in mine from when I bought it from dealer in 2010.
I don't use them and nor will I because as well as the safety side but because they aren't great to travel in anyway.

If I was to fit any it would be forward facing seats or not at all.
If you want more passengers then a 110 is the best option in my opinion.

I had a little bump with side facing seats. The lads in the back were black and blue. Sure the one lad. Cracked a rib but he refused to go hospital.

I'd save up the extra and fit the forward facing.

Thanks for all the info guys .... Didn't realise there where such issues with side facing seats been in back of a few lanndys with no problems .. But I suppose in a smash there not ideal... Will look at forward facing and what ones have least inpact on load space ..
