United Kingdom 2006 Defender 110 Td5 XS CSW Blenheim Silver
new to the temperamental defender
Hi guys,
only had my my06 110 xs sw, about 8-10wks.
its been generally good just stupid things really.
anyway I bought 2 interior led bulbs just to swap over,
I thought the oe rear buld was goosed anyway so when I changed over only works on permanent no backdoor switch,
Swapped front one and nothing then it will only come on when on middle but its constantly on ?.
Now my stereo is dead no power,
there was a spark when I was changing the rear bulb but never thought anything of it.
advice on bulb housings , door switches, fuses ( werever they are ).
Cheers

Fuses are in front of the gear levers and some under the fron drivers seat but I'm not sure where that specific fuse is. They are all marked on the covers though so easy to find

I managed to blow the fuses as well when i fitted the LED interior bulbs in my 90. The fuses are in front of the gear levers behind the panel with the two hand screws...

i believe the LED bulbs only go in one way round, if the fuse blows try the LED bulbs the the other way round. Thumbs Up 2002 Td5 | 90 County Station Wagon | Oslo Blue

if you put it in backwards it shouldn't blow the fuse, it just won't work.

I'm not sure what it is on a TD5, but on a Puma it's fuse 30 and that does do other stuff too such as the alarm, clock and radio.
