How do folk how are we all?
Possibly asking how long is a piece of string here but worth an ask I thought! 07 2.4 puma defender 90 Had issues with it cutting to half power and the engine management light coming on. Turn it of for 5mins back to full power but light stays on for few days before putting its self out Iv replaced the air flow mass meter added a snorkel and this seamed to cure the problem but with in 1000 miles problem is back again Engine done 102.000 miles but pulles like a train doesn't smoke doesn't miss a beat Keep it well serviced I think the hand book says 12k mike service but I swap the oil and filters every 6k Garage have had the diagnostic kit on it can't pin it down Wondering if any one has had similar problems? |

If the EGR has not been disabled by remap or bypassed remove the MAP sensor and give it a clean with Carb cleaner. Is the EGR completing its cleaning cycle at shut down?
