If they are on your desk top or in a folder.
when you start or reply to a post.

scroll down
choose photos.
click on the pic.
upload pic.
click on the pic and it will appear in the post.

The picture I posted was the only one that didn't show your numberplate. Knowing how protective people are over them you may wish to consider photo shopping, removing and hiding, obscuring, taking it off and burning, or even blowing your numberplate to smithereens before posting an image of it on here.

Is there a reason though? I've taken to doing it because everyone else does but I can't see the point.

I think it's to do with cloning. Any car you see on the road you could do that with. If anyone would like to know my reg number you're welcome to have it.
