Looks like safari have now developed it.
Its also a good manual on how to seal up your snorkel. http://www.safarisnorkel.com/guides/LAND%2..._guide.htm Why is it though that i have fitted 2 (one to my nearly new disco) and i just dont want to drill into it! Mike |

I went to our local ARB and they have not yet imported the new one but are willing to modify the one for the TD5 to fit the Puma. ZAR 4,700 including fitting (GBP 332) Puma 110 - gone

How well any intake seals is all down to attention to detail when fitting.
I've got one of the new Mantec's coming from the UK as it is half the price (including freight) of the same unit here and about 60% of the price of the Safari. The Safari was only released in Australia this week so I suspect stocks were on their way before that. 110 2.4TDCi 110 300Tdi ![]() LROCV ::: AULRO.com |

Agreed !
They don't have to look good to work ! The first ones we used on the MOD ones were cobbled together from drain pipes off a barrack block in Otterburn the top filter was off a tractor the glass bowl type and strangely enough we used sikaflex to seal it all up ! I had just had a front windscreen replaced on a Golf and they used this stuff to bond the screen in, I knew it would come in handy when I cadged it off the bloke at the time ! For my liking and from my experience the RAM Air effect does just that ! And I can't see the point in turning it round now that does look bone ! The Mantec jobby gets my vote every time, I think it suits the new Defender better Apart from that yes sealant is key just be carefull incase it needs to come back off cause that stuff sticks like Sh!77 to a cat !
