Thanks for the sentiments.
B***** annoying, especially after having spent close to three days covering myself in Dinitrol!!! I hope the scrote who stole it gets overcome with the fumes from the wax. Knowing the crazy world we live in he would probably end up suing me for damages. I'm not on Twitter so can't publish on there but I have logged it on LandyWatch this morning. I bet it gets broken for spares or shipped overseas. Then the arguing over value with the insurance company will begin. All of a sudden the attraction of buying through the approved used vehicle event n October , with 2 years warranty and servicing doesn't seem such a good deal. I don't suppose that will be transferrable to any replacement. |

So Sorry to hear this just what you don’t need before Christmas. I hope it is soon recovered undamaged for you and the thieves duly punished with branding irons or such.

Yes, only had it since late October.
Nobody ever stole my previous classic Landies. S II SWB, 101 F/Control, S III Lightweight. Mind you, if they had tried, they would have had to bring plenty of gear with them to get them started and to drive them to wherever they had planned taking them Does make me think hard about replacing it, which is a real shame. |

This is one of the sadder aspects of ownership. Every morning I wake and check to see if mine is still there and every night hope that the drive is still full in the morning.

Would have been located long ago with a decent tracker I would have imagined and hoped? Sorry for your loss. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

No tracker installed
But lesson learned so if I do replace or if she is recovered, it will be high on the list of extra security measures to consider. Worst thing now is the waiting. |

Sorry to hear of your theft. Hopefully this is not yours but you should check. Did you have small chains on the rear mudflaps?:

For some reason I can't view the link, but mine didn't have any chains on the rear mudflaps. Thanks for posting though.
