I remember similar units to that in the UK in the 60s,...I always wanted one, they were a pretty common item, painters used to use them for melting & stripping paint off windows/woodwork etc! They're probably "collector's items" now. Pickles. |

Hans - for the ignorant (me!) can you tell us a little bit more about it?
Most important job of the blow lamp - will it do good bacon? ![]() Click image to enlarge |

I am not going to tell you my story of blow lamp collecting today. It will just take too long time. Maybe some other time over a pint or two. If you come to Sweden I will show you my collection and we can test drive some
![]() And yes, it will do bacon but with a taste of kerosene ![]() There are collectors of blow lamps all over the world and it you want to learn more I suggest you contact the Blow Lamp Society in UK or a collectors club in your country http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Blowlamp-Society-Me...2a4870314d /Hans |

Rothenberger quick fire two with mapp gas is the best option by far! Been using them for 15 years or so, plus they are serviceable
