Most of my external black trim bits are turning/have turned grey...
These include door handles, window trims, mirror backs and my snorkel... What does everyone else use to restore these norty grey bits back to their original blackness please? ... Rog... The GREEN One... MY2016 Urban Truck Build Thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40548....al[/color] |

This will get a whole load of replies, again. Quite a common one believe it or not is smooth peanut butter, btings the plastic back to black and lasts for a fair time as well.

Damn, we only have crunchy in the house too... I did search on as many combinations of the three words as I could muster, but didn't find any previous items - searching is not always straightforward if the terminology others use is different to what one thinks it should be... Thank you JWL, that may be worth exploring further, but won't it tend to attract rats and stuff... Rog... The GREEN One... Certainly will and great on tyres aswell.
Just to ad you can get the car plan one online cheaper, just that was the first one to show. Seems to be the longest lasting and easiest to apply. Only thing is dont let it drip down the paint as its fairly runny Defender puma dormobile camper |

Once they fade it's pretty much permanent, there are a number of products to choose from, most are only short term (couple of months, max).Or try this stuff which claims to be permanent, probably is if you continue to care for it afterwards.I use Autoglym tyre/rubber/trim shine,(it was on offer) but will use pretty much any branded stuff.
