What did I do in my Defender yesterday?
Organised to get it towed somewhere to get the stuffed ignition barrel replaced My wife got stuck down town with a car that you couldn't turn the key past the accessory position. SO all you could do was unlock the steering wheel. 110 2.4TDCi 110 300Tdi LROCV ::: AULRO.com |

Put in 4 new speakers- much better but i think i will have to either repalce the head unit and / or put in a sub woofer.
have to wait for a while tho! anyone have a preference for a neat little sub woofer? cheers BM52 |

that must have been a great drive. out of interest - have you noticed a big difference from a standard map to the BAS remap. mine seems very quick and pulls very well in 4,5 & 6 - it has really suprised me, that is after about 400 miles of ownership and after being used to a 300tdi. do you have an times eg 50-70 in 4th or 5th so i can do a comparison? it will also easily go over 90, on the speedo, so you got me wondering if mine is normal or has it been chipped by the previous owner - i assume it is standard, not sure how e could tell tho! cheers BM52 |
