Hi Keith
That's a strange one, not sure why your radio would crackle. Maybe one of the wiring experts in here could shed some light on it (no pun intended) 2015 90 XS CSW TDCi - Beautiful 2007 110 XS DCPU - An itch that needed scratching 2005 90 Td5 XS CSW - Utterly brilliant 2001 Discovery 2 ES Auto - A phase I went through 1996 90 Tdi CSW - Uber reliable 1989 90 2.5 Petrol Hardtop - My first proper Landy 1985 Range Rover Vogue V8 -Troublesome |

I have received my Lighter, fantastic service i have to say.
Fitted them onto a Terrafirma Lighter model number TF008SH. This is meant to be a non-AC version, but i found it stuck out miles from the front of the car. I have a standard size bumper, and I'm thinking this is actually meant to be fitted on an oversized Terrafirma bumper. Out came trusty angle grinder. (Angle Grinders should come as part of the standard toolkit with a landrover). Having cut approx 7cm off the bracket to push it closer to the grill, and a few corners removed and holes re-drilled it no fits great. Not tried it on a dark road yet, only in the confines of the driveway, but the light output seems amazing. Here are a few photos. I also have that a bar on my ac Puma and it is a tight fit even though it is listed as the ac model. However there is room for an additional light bar on top. I fitted a 28" spot only one on top just to see how it looks and works. Not happy with the look but the light output is pretty good now. I am going to use the 28" as a winter addition and remove it in the springtime.

Looking great there Glyn, thanks for posting up some pics. It's good to see pics of the light bars fitted and nice to get some feedback on them.
I think all in all these are being well received and those who have bought them are pretty impressed with their quality and light output 2015 90 XS CSW TDCi - Beautiful 2007 110 XS DCPU - An itch that needed scratching 2005 90 Td5 XS CSW - Utterly brilliant 2001 Discovery 2 ES Auto - A phase I went through 1996 90 Tdi CSW - Uber reliable 1989 90 2.5 Petrol Hardtop - My first proper Landy 1985 Range Rover Vogue V8 -Troublesome |

I have one of the 26" bars (not bought from here though) and the light output is great, but more of a flood pattern than long range.
It's great for green laning, I have it fitted to my roll bar, as it shines down onto the track and really picks out the ruts and holes. I have a couple of Hella spots that provide long range illumination. A great combination with the bar. Cheers Simon |

Hi Simon
Sorry to hear you've had problems with the light bar, like you I tested it before posting to you and all LEDs were fine. Package it up and post it back to me and I'll send you a replacement. I've sent you a PM with my address etc. Cheers Russ 2015 90 XS CSW TDCi - Beautiful 2007 110 XS DCPU - An itch that needed scratching 2005 90 Td5 XS CSW - Utterly brilliant 2001 Discovery 2 ES Auto - A phase I went through 1996 90 Tdi CSW - Uber reliable 1989 90 2.5 Petrol Hardtop - My first proper Landy 1985 Range Rover Vogue V8 -Troublesome |

Keith, not sure if you resolved your issue but I just noticed this and in the absence of any other reply it could be the lighting earth is at a different potential causing a ground loop, this would give you the symptoms described. Recheck the lighting ground and make sure it's a good one. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
