2004 Defender 110 Td5 CSW Java Black
Soundproofing has made a massive difference and I haven't even used Dynamat but I figured that butyl backed foil couldn't vary that much in its properties and the price put me off.

As I say I can't compare but I'm pleased with the results Thumbs Up

You can get it from B&Q, Screwfix, Toolstation or any builders merchants.

Class! You make a lot of jobs look very easy.

Have you settled on a dog guard? Quite like the look of this http://www.dogguardsrus.co.uk/Custom-Made-...83-to-2007

Also, meow did you tint your windows? Is it a send away jobbie or DIY?

Are you pleased with the quality of the exmoor retrim kit? Thinking about doing my standard td5 seats with it, then mounting some headrests on the dog guard hence giving a bit more upper back and head protection on the back seats without costing silly money

DIY, took the windows out and did it in the garage

Most of the stuff I used was GEN LR parts not exmoor, but I did get Exmoor front seat bases and front headrest covers. Happy with them and the service.

Okay so a bit more winter prep.

Heated Screen went in today. OE Pilkington tinted with 2 tabs

Cleaned the screen frame, treated a few bubbles and a new OE rubber.

I also replaced the rear window for a "take off" one as mine had lost a few tracks in the window, before I fit the new one I tinted it and the rear QTR light windows.

Where did you get your screen from and was it sent in the post?
