My new 90 was starting fine until last weekend when we went caravanning. It has a L.R 13pin tow electric socket which was fitted from new but this is the first time we've used it. Before our trip it always started on the button so I was surprised when half way on our journey when we stopped for fuel the 90 only JUST started after filling up.
Ever since it's been very lazy starting so it was off to the main dealers for a fix.
Rang me early evening to say it was fixed and the problem was a "loose earth wire on the transfer box", could any of you fine chaps take the time to explain to me why this would 1. not charge the battery properly and 2. only suddenly happen after the first ever use of the tow electrics..
Many thanks in advance.....Mark. 04' 90 Td5 CSW..

Thanks Munch , well what they did worked as it started on the button this morning. As you predicted it was purely coincidental that I was towing at the time. 04' 90 Td5 CSW..
