I have no doubt that that it's good in use but it's a bit overstated and oversized.
Click image to enlarge I'm sure it could have been a bit more discreet while retaining the function. 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon 1971 Bowler Tomcat 88 4.2 V8 Auto 2022 110 D250 XS Edition - Gone 2024 110 D250 X-Dynamic HSE |

Bowler are an official technical partner of LR. Therefore vehicle is covered by manufacturer warranty. Lots of dealers are now buying in to the Bowler idea, which can only be great for Drew and the boys. I looked after Bowler when I was with Sturgess, and both ourselves and Stratstone Mayfair were the only dealers at that time. |

I had this discussion with the dealer about my rear diff repairs, they tried to wriggle out of a warranty claim as I had non standard wheels until I pointed out that the same wheels were on vehicles being sold via land rover dealers and that LR UK were warranting this cars so why not mine!! After a wee bit of digging about in their computer and some muttering they had to back down!! 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon

One of my customers has a 90 version from bowler. Understanding it's all honoured by lr. This one has Ashcrofts all through too. Cheers

So what possible case could LR make for rejecting a warranty claim against an engine tuned by BAS but not bought from Bowler/branded Bowler?

BAS and Bowler ... ... Never !
I guess perhaps part of the extra price is the fact it's warranty is still honoured ... so they build it into the price maybe? So if it's not a 'Bowler' job and you save however much ... if you have problems, you'll have to spend that difference to fix it if you get me drift! |

You would like to think that for £60k the dealer could manage to get the details right on the board. The DC doesnt have a rear heated window and I cant say I have ever heard of Good Rich tyres! 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread
