Managed 8 months, but couldn't go on without a defender in the household, so px'd the Polo and here we go again.
Defender no 4. 2010my Defender 90 Hard Top with cloth seats, cold climate pack, comfort pack, exterior pack, style pack, cubby box & S type towing electrics. Purchased from Lakeland Land Rover. I have NEVER experienced a car purchase like this before. Nothing was too much trouble, if I had a question or a concern, one quick email and an instant response - no problem. Anyhow a few quick shots near Windermere for now, more to follow when I start adding the long list of bits & pieces to it. It was well worth the 5 hours each way!
Had service from local Stratstone dealers, so tried Lookers Park Royal. They were very helpful, but due to a cock-up with their maths, couldn't get near my budget (not without removing half the options). Lakeland met my budget, gave me a good price for the Polo, organised free insurance allowing it to be registered, gave me extended tax so I wouldn't miss out on nearly a month's tax, supplied extra number plates for the trailer & caravan, even put in a full tank of Diesel, all free of charge! I honestly couldn't sing their praises enough! Barney D4 - 2016 Graphite, Montalcino Red Written Off - 2010 90 Hard Top, Stornoway Grey |

just a note, spray plastic bumper dressing on the side steps to stop them rusting after cleaning and get some plastic nut caps as the bolts will rust in front of you(Component Force in Kent)for the nut covers use them on the towbar nuts and bolts too 2.4 90 XS
