Anywhere nice for Breakfast
So fingers crossed we will be going next Saturday to pick up the new Defender from Chester. Plan is to leave Wiltshire reasonably early and stop for Breakfast to break up the journey.

Can anyone suggest anywhere nice either just off the M5/M6 or perhaps somewhere along the A41?

Wow, now that's what I call planning!

I've always had a decent one here http://www.lynnsravencafe.co.uk at Prees Heath on the A41

Best of luck with your new Landy btw

Plus another vote, just where the A49 and A41 join.

Raven Café is good for a decent fry up. Dearnford Lake is a just a couple of miles further north on the A41 and is supposed to be good (not tried myself yet): www.dearnford.com Pete

I live a couple of miles from their Lower Stretton site and have to say that if the Raven at Prees Heath struggles with your order for Eggs Benedict on a busy Saturday morning then it's well worth making the journey to Hollies for your bit of Cheshireness, served with a glass of Forget Briment champagne, of course Laughing !

Advantage of that is that, if you wanted, you could press on further up the M6, drop in here, then A556 over to Chester (which is a pretty good road).
