Connects to the middle of the rear axle with 2 arms onto the chassis. The ball joint is the bit that bolts onto the axle 2008 Defender 110 XS SW - M57N2 / 6HP28X

Worn drive flanges cause quite a lot of drive train clunk and reasonably cheap to replace.
