LRO hypocrites??
Well my mate successfully entered this years LRO calender competition and was chosen for the Feb pic Bow down

My problem is that LRO turned down his other entries, as it "depicted scenes of off-road driving in a sensitive area" however we're a sensible "mature" group who are well aware of the tread-lightly 4x4 philosophy & more importantly... the pics they declined IMHO were bloody good 'uns Thumbs Up

LRO are just cr@p thesedays.... a bit like LR they try to shy away from the good old days of camel trophy, they'd rather concentrate on lifestyle vehicles with canoe's on top.

My first thoughts are that It's their competition and they can choose however they want ?

For their rationale they may be sensitive to the fact that the trucks appear to be off the track ?

My own opinion is that the two extra pictures aren't as good - too much photographic effect on them for me.

I never buy them because there is dos all in it.
If there is any lanes in there it's about 300miles away and the rest is nothing but advertising all the time.
Many of the products on here or discussed months earlier.

Mine is Miss November!

Although I rarely buy LRO... I also really struggled to spend the britpart voucher!

My missus was the photographer, and has picked me a copy up.

Bit annoyed they have put an advert at the bottom advertising pattern part side steps when they are genuine parts fitted.

I imagine they didn't want to publish the picture of a Jeep.....

Not exactly the Pirelli calendar is it?

Where's Patrick Lichfield and the real Miss February?
