England 2013 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS DCPU Corris Grey
Fitting Lazer RS4 Lights
I am fitting a pair or Lazer RS4 light to my 1 year old Puma Defender.

Is there an ignition feed easily assessable in the engine bay that I can get a signal wire to the relay to operate the spotlight side of the lights to save me getting a cable in to the dashboard area?

Regards,

Rob

United Kingdom 2014 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 ST Keswick Green
I've fitted Lazer RS and ST lights to my Puma, but I'm having a little difficulty understanding your question Whistle

Are you after a full beam trigger for the lights or an ignition-switched feed for the drl portion of the lamps?

I used a dashboard switch for the drl portion and spliced into the full-beam trigger wire in the harness at the rear of the nearside of the engine bay for the full-beam triggering. If memory serves (and I've done this to both MY11 and MY13 Defenders), you need to splice into the blue wire with a grey trace at the harness at the rear of the nearside of the engine bay.

I'm not sure if this is helpful, but I'm trying!

Cheers,

Joel
