Just had a green tint one fitted in mine to replace the origional screen, which was 1998 vintage. It's like driving a brand new Landrover and also clears very quickly when misted up.

I had a windscreen mishap, my fault as welding and glass don't go together, phoned my insurance company up to claim on the windscreen cover and they said just book Autoglass. I then had a brainwave and phoned the insurance company back and they told me that if I paid the difference on the initial cost and the excess they had no problem with the upgrade. £50 excess and £100 for the difference I had a heated screen fitted within two days. The insurance company are aware I have a heated screen so if, God forbid, it needs replacing it will be changed like for like.

£150 is more than i paid for my OEM Pilkington screen and to have it fitted.

Ebay has plenty for sale last time I looked. Just get a genuine seal and make sure the fitter uses screen mastic.

MobilCentre wiring worked a treat. just make sure you buy correct version Very Happy

Fair enough on what I paid, though I didn't have to do anything bar make two phonecalls and sit back and watch the man do his stuff outside my house. To wire it up cost me roughly £20 in relays plus the OEM switch which was just under £9. I bought mine just before they shot up to over £50!
