[For Sale] Disco 2 GS TD5 Manual 2001 In Blue SOLD
I am selling my Discovery 2 GS TD5 manual as she is not being used very much and she has only covered about 3,000 miles since her last MOT in April 2013. Registered in June 2001 on a Y registration.
She is the 5 seat version so has the storage boxes in the rear as opposed to the small seats.
She has 99,990 miles on the clock and this is a genuine mileage although she may have slightly over the 100,000 on when you come to buy as I am off to get her washed.
MOT until April 2015 and some recent work carried out include the following;
New Battery – 04/04/2014
Service including all oils changed - gearbox, transfer box, both diffs and engine oils - 30/10/2013 at 98,035 miles
ACE system removed by Cheviot 4x4 - 03/04 2014
Front discs & pads replaced - 27/03/2013
She has 4 new General Grabber AT2 tyres that have done less than 1000 miles and has also been remapped by Bell Auto Services earlier this year.
No smoke, no oil leaks and no issues, she drives very well and pulls like a train.
As you would expect she has the odd age related marks but is in general good condition.
Dual air conditioning and twin sun roofs fitted as standard. Cloth interior with a slight tear in the driver’s seat – as you get in on the seat bolster. Tow bar fitted but not used for some time if ever. JVC head-unit and OEM LR rubber mats in the front and rear but not the boot area. OEM side steps with front mud-flaps attached. Rear mud flaps and side strips on the doors with the chrome inserts.
Waxoyled about 2 years ago but the chassis is solid even at the back where most Disco 2’s tend to go.
Ideal car for the winter especially with the tyres she has on so get in touch asap as I don’t think she will hang around for long.

"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.
