Rear light protectors
Hi

Just fitted a wheel carrier to the back of tank. It's ok, a Britpart one, cheap and you get what you pay for.

My problem is that my rear light protector doesn't fit on the right side due to the wheel carrier. Any ideas of replacements anyone could recomend ?

Cheers

Duncan

I have COR4 guards and they fit with my carrier. Any pics of your carrier they may help.

@K9F I'm not sure if electrical tape and plastic bags are a good enough to support the carrier..... 1999 Defender TD5 110

Swing away follows the door. The rear lightguards are from LRS Offroad...Had to wait a while for them all to come in but worth the wait...

Here's a picture of the sliding rear door plate....

Can anyone point me to the definitive thread on wheel carriers Question (or create one..)
Looking at: opens with door / or not; materials, mounting points etc.

My TD5 90 has normal ish 235/85 R16 and I really want to put a simple (can be independent of door) non rusting (I'm keeping it) carrier ....

Ta. Sold the much modified 110 2.8, in Oz
Brought the 90 home from Switzerland ...

The nakatenenga one is the best in my opinion, look in 4x4 overlander site sponsor section.
