Hi,
i hope i got your question right... The VDO-gauges have for the bulbs Kind of a coloured cover to pull over it. They are usually delivered with a green and a red one. I have some VDO-gauges in my Defender, all with green light Cheers Philip |

Got some in my TD5 and the back lighting is very similar to the OEM gauges.

Hi
Thanks Phillip Would you say it illuminates the same shade of green as the Landy ones I'm going to get a rev counter to fit in place of the clock and I'd be happier knowing it matches the td5 ones when illuminated Thanks |

There is a 'Tdi' version of the Td5 style rev counter, which is for the RoW spec TD5 Defender that was factory fitted with a 300Tdi engine - it's part number - YAE100800
This rev counter is driven by the 'W' terminal on the alternator, and matches the TD5 gauges perfectly, in style and illumination - but, it's about twice the price of a VDO Vision rev counter - http://www.brit-car.co.uk/product.php/9512...i_defender There are a couple of places that list it a bit cheaper than Brit-Car. . On the subject of TD5 rev counters, these seem like good value - anyone got one?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390939191542?_tr...EBIDX%3AIT The only thing that puts me off buying one is their feedback isn't great. |

Bought various things off them myself
Had an incorrect part once and they dealt with it professionally, I sent part back they reimbursed me and send the correct item Had a few of those clear wipac lense sets of them too, that look like nas type (same as late td5 reverse lamp) wasn't impressed they all yellowed and looked crap, that's more a manufacturing issue than the company, didn't bother to complain i just took em off and fitted genuine le perei type far far better |
